The Social rehabilitation for parents with children

The first part describes what a family is and various definitions of the family, its functions and parenting disorders. The second part deals with the assessment of family functionality. The third part describes social rehabilitation and its goals, forms and target groups and last but not least the family rehabilitation.

Where I studied documentation and did twenty-six interviews with children. The main part is devoted to the presentation of the obtained results, so how children spend their time before they are placed in a children's home. The results are analyzed and possible solutions and recommendations for working with children and families in family preservation.
Transformation of children's homes into a new type of facilities

TITLE Transformation of Children's homes into a new type of facilities ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to map the evolution and current state of the system of care for children and families at risk in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, the educational-psychological perspective on the issue and to outline a vision for the future development. It is based on literature review particularly in the fields of work with children and families at risk, social pedagogy, developmental psychology, historical and current system of care for children at risk in our country and the Slovak Republic. The study contains knowledge of the author's experience in residential care and the first year experience in pilot project which aims to transform children's home into the facility providing support and field services for families at risk. The purpose of the practical part of the paper is to prove feasibility of the proposal using the case reports of children placed in children's home. Activity of officers in charge of youth in risk with children in facilities for institutional and protective education

This thesis aims to analyze the activity of officers in charge of youth in risk with children, which for various reasons were given into the care facility for institutional or protective care. The thesis closely specifies the officers in charge of youth in risk in the social and legal protection of children and the clientele to which its activities are focused. In the third chapter are described steps that may be of interest to protect the rights and interests of the child adopted. The following three chapters are devoted to institute of institutional and protective care - reasons which may be resorted to these measures, what competences and duties belong to the officers in charge of youth in risk and how are the termination or withdrawal of the measure. A separate chapter is devoted to the theme of family preservation, as a process that supports the functioning of the family. In some cases is demonstrated what specific procedures officers in charge of youth in risk in Usti nad Labem in solving educational problems of children benefiting.

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the return of children from the institutional care back to the family with the support and cooperation with parents and social workers from social legal child protection and social stimulating services for parents with children. It is a theoretical empirical work based on experiences with realization the return of the child from the institutional care in the area of the town Litvínov. Apart from the practical experience according to the said social workers, the work is also based on the author's theoretical knowledge, which has been gained during the study of professional literature in the field of social pedagogy and by self-studying in the stated problematic. The thesis is focused on the family background, the family cure, the institutional care and activities of social workers during the period when the child was been returning into the family. The empirical part is an illustrational preview into the problematic of the return of children from the institutional care back to the family.
The temporary foster's care - importance, practice experience

The Diploma thesis is oriented into the area of a substitute family care in the Czech Republic. There are family functions disturbances in the respekt to the child specified in the first chapter, focusing mainly on those who most frequently, have an influence on a creation of so called "Infant social orphanage". The second chapter is dedicated to the possibilities of providing of substitute children nurture, mainly to single forms of substitute family care and theoretical recourses used for the optimal option of substitute child nurture. The content of the third chapter is a foster care (historical development, forms, infants indications, applicants motivation) and the newest type - the temporary foster care and its specifications compared to other forms of foster care. The fourth charter includes methodological recourses for an empirical research and thein interpretation. There are the Diploma Thesis findings and possibilities of further development of the substitute family care in the Czech Republic compiled in the fifth chapter.

The submitted diploma thesis is called: Rehabilitation of a family endangered by transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction. Alcohol addiction in the family is a very current topic, as it can have a significant impact on future generations of children who grew up with an alcohol addicted parent. The theoretical part deals with the issue of alcohol addiction and its impact on family functioning, psychological and social development of children and their functioning in adulthood. It also examines the causes and manifestations of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction in the family, including how to prevent the risk of alcohol addiction in future generations. The aim of the empirical part is to answer the main research question through interviews: What is the personal experience of the current generation of offspring of alcohol addicted parents in creating their own family and how can the family prevent the risk of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction to the next generation of offspring? From the research survey, we found that children who grew up in an alcoholic environment are affected to various degrees in adult life in all areas, because they have not experienced healthy parenting patterns in the family. Collaboration of organisations in family strengthening in the area of competence of the Regional Caritas Jičín

The diploma thesis aims to describe the process of family strengthening of two services provided by Regional Caritas Jičín. It also compares the services using a good practice approach, which is defined by multidisciplinary cooperation and a network of activities of various organizations. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the process of family strengthening and explains terms such as family and its functions, multi-problem family, the vulnerability of contemporary family, family typology, or various socio-pathological phenomena. In this part, the objectives, principles, and legal framework of family strengthening are described. Two researched social activation services providing family strengthening are introduced. The setting of the system of care in Czechia is outlined, including its current issues and the ongoing transformation. Moreover, the innovative concepts of cooperation and methods of social work are introduced, i.e. multidisciplinary teams, child protection conferences, family conferences, or the Cochem model.
